Ab workouts

Ab workouts abound but if you want great abs you have to pay attention to not only the training aspect but also to diet and cutting bodyfat via light cardio activity.  An abdominal exercise regimen cannot offset a poor diet.  The abs are normally worked with a higher rep range than other muscle groups and can be trained more often.  Some of the best ab exercises include crunches, leg raises, and situps.  When doing crunches focus on bringing the torso toward the knees and only support the head without pulling on the neck.  With leg raises focus on bringing the legs or knees upwards without using momentum and squeeze at the top of the movement.
